Early Morning Pick-Up

  • Begin your journey with a pick-up from your hotel at 4:30 AM.
  • We offer complimentary pick-up services from hotels around the Bundala area and nearby locations such as Tissamaharama, Hambantota, and Kirinda.
  • Hop into our comfortable safari jeep, and head toward Bundala National Park.

Arrival at Bundala National Park (6:00 AM)

  • Upon arrival at Bundala, you'll have time to purchase your park entry tickets at the gate.
  • Before entering the park, enjoy a packed breakfast amidst the scenic backdrop of the surrounding wetlands.

Morning Safari Exploration (6:30 AM)

  • Embark on your morning safari at around 6:30 AM, when wildlife activity is at its peak.
  • Drive through Bundala’s diverse landscapes of lagoons, salt pans, and scrub forests, known for attracting hundreds of bird species, including migratory flocks of flamingos and storks.
  • Your guide will also help you spot elephants, spotted deer, sloth bears, and the elusive leopards.

Midday Lunch Break (1:00 PM)

  • Pause for lunch at 1:00 PM in a peaceful location inside the park, surrounded by the beauty of nature.
  • Enjoy a hearty meal while watching the park’s wildlife, particularly the aquatic birds that inhabit Bundala’s wetlands.

Afternoon Safari (2:00 PM)

  • After lunch, continue your safari through the park’s wetlands, lagoons, and open areas.
  • Bundala is a paradise for birdwatchers, with opportunities to see a wide variety of resident and migratory bird species.
  • Keep an eye out for crocodiles basking near water bodies, as well as monkeys and water buffalo grazing in the marshlands.

Conclusion of Safari (6:00 PM)
